Jason T. Vuchinich is a trial lawyer at Ashby Thelen Lowry specializing in catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. His depth of experience includes premises liability, product liability, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle cases. Jason is head of the firm’s motor vehicle and Law Tigers Division. He is licensed in all courts across Georgia and Alabama, including their respective supreme courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Jason brings a relentless, resourceful approach to every case he takes on.

Before joining the plaintiff’s side, Jason was an equity partner at one of the nation’s premier defense firms. He spent years in the trenches defending some of the country’s largest corporations, manufacturers, transportation companies, and property owners in high-stakes catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. That experience gave him something most plaintiff’s lawyers don’t have: an insider’s understanding of exactly how insurers and corporations evaluate, strategize, and defend against claims. He uses that knowledge every day to anticipate the opposition, outmaneuver their defenses, and fight harder for the people he represents.

But Jason’s move to the plaintiff’s side was not just a career decision. It was a conviction. He is a firm believer in the American civil justice system and the foundational principle that accountability drives safety. Corporations make safer products, property owners maintain safer premises, and transportation companies adopt safer practices not out of goodwill alone, but because the civil justice system demands it. At the heart of that system is the American jury trial, the greatest equalizer any of us possesses. It is the right to walk into a courtroom, stand before twelve ordinary citizens, and tell your story. Not to a faceless bureaucracy, not to a corporate committee, not to an ivory tower academic or a distant judge, but to your peers. People who will look you in the eye, weigh the evidence with an open mind, and render justice according to their conscience. That is a sacred right worth fighting for, and it is the reason Jason goes to work every day.

Jason earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Mississippi. In law school, Jason was on the competitive mock trial and moot court teams and served as a senior editor for the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law. He has been recognized across multiple categories as a Super Lawyer Rising Star every year since 2021 and by Best Lawyers in America every year since 2024. Jason is also a 2022 graduate of the State Bar of Georgia Young Leadership Division’s Leadership Academy.

Outside the courtroom, Jason lives in Midtown Atlanta and is happiest when he’s on the slopes skiing, doing a CrossFit workout, getting lost in a good novel, or in the stands at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. Jason is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice where he works alongside colleagues to advance the rights of injured individuals and preserve the average American’s access to the civil justice system.
