Katie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Auburn University in 2007, Katie accepted a position as a real estate transaction paralegal, which she enjoyed for three years. In 2010, Katie passed the Georgia Real Estate exam, earning her real estate license; Katie worked as a licensed Realtor for seven years. Real estate allowed Katie to utilize her marketing expertise, attention to detail, and her negotiation skills (just to name a few). Although Katie enjoyed real estate, she missed the legal field. In 2017, Katie joined a law firm that specialized in complex litigation. Katie was an integral part of the complex litigation team where she handled all aspects of litigation. Katie joined the ATL family in October of 2023.

Katie handles all the non-product catastrophic injury cases for the firm. She manages every aspect of a case using her attention to detail, knowledge and tenacity to bring it across the finish line. Katie is passionate about helping others whose lives have been turned upside down by a tragic event.

Katie lives in Marietta, Georgia with her two kids and a Labrador Retriever. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, watching her kids’ sporting events, listening to music and traveling. Katie volunteers at Good Samaritan and the Lutzie 43 Foundation, which brings awareness to students across the country about distracted, impaired and unsafe driving.
