Katherine L. Jackson (“Katie”) joined ATL Law in 2023 to head the firm’s motor vehicle and Law Tigers division. She’s worked as a plaintiff’s civil litigation attorney since 2012, focusing on personal injury. Katie was a licensed claims adjuster before earning her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. After graduating, she took what she learned from working inside the insurance industry and now utilizes it to fight for the rights of injury victims. Ms. Jackson understands the intricacies of complex insurance coverage and uses this knowledge to obtain the best possible results for her clients. She has a passion for getting justice for her clients. She was a volunteer certified domestic violence and sexual abuse advocate in the state of Florida and also a former Georgia Prosecuting Attorney’s Council Graduate Intern at the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.

Katie’s first trial resulted in a $1.1 million default verdict against a personal care home, at the time the largest nursing home verdict in Rockdale County.

At her prior firm, Katie was instrumental in securing several multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements including an 8 million dollar medical malpractice verdict and 9 million dollar wrongful death settlement.

Katie is licensed to practice in all state and superior courts of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Northern District of Georgia, Middle District of Georgia, and Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court.

She is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Cobb County Bar Association, the Sandy Springs Bar Association, the Auburn Alumni Association (lifetime member) and Delta Gamma sorority. Ms. Jackson graduated in the top 13% of her class from Auburn University, magna cum laude. She attends Buckhead Church, is an avid college football fan, loves traveling. She currently resides in Sandy Springs with her husband and their English Cream Golden Retriever, Rosie.
